“Being a School Direct student has meant that I have been able to fully immerse myself in school life. Having a ‘home school’ has meant that I truely feel part of the team at Park and I have been able to develop strong relationships with the staff and children alike.
As the course is school based, I have spent a far greater amount of time teaching in the classroom compared to traditional PGCE courses. This has given me invaluable experience, not just of teaching but also meeting and greeting in the morning, through to conversing with parents at home time.
